The Nymphs’ Pool
On the way to Lada, beyond the Ternoshorа Huk waterfall, lies the so-called Nymphs’ Pool – a natural basin nestled among cozy grottoes, about 1.5 meters deep. According to legend, the cold water of the pool has healing and rejuvenating properties – no wonder the local nymphs choose it for their sacred baths.
Good to know
The pool lies in the bed of the Bezulka stream, a little above Ternoshorskyi Huk waterfall, on the trail to Ternoshorska Lada. Local descriptions give its size as about 2×4 m and around 1.5 m deep. The water is cold even in summer heat. Legend says forest nymphs (mavky) bathed here — it is told in the village as a legend, not as a promise.
- Stones near the water are slippery, especially after rain.
- Do not swim when the stream is high after storms.
- Please do not use soap or shampoo in this clean mountain stream.
