Lada is not the only reason to come to Snidavka. Waterfalls, mountain meadows, rocks and old wooden churches are all within reach — easy to combine with Lada in a day or two. Detailed descriptions (in Ukrainian) are on the village portal snidavka.com.
On the same trail
Ternoshorskyi Huk waterfall — a small cascade on the Bezulka stream about 500 m from Lada, where water crosses hard sandstone. In the Hutsul region waterfalls are called “huk” after the sound of water hitting stone.
The Nymphs’ Pool — a natural stone basin carved by the stream. Legend says forest nymphs bathed here; the water is cold even in summer.
Upper Ternoshory — a quieter group of rocks above the village centre with wider views of the valley.
Meadows and peaks
Ihrets — a mountain meadow above Snidavka (1,311 m according to local sources) with views of the Chornohora ridge.
Bukovets — an open ridge with a 360° view and a statue of Christ built by a local resident. The nearby Bukovets Pass is a starting point for routes to Pysanyi Kamin.
Mount Hrehit — the highest peak of the Kosiv area (1,472 m according to sources), covered with fields of sandstone boulders. A full-day hike, shortest from the village of Shepit.
Water
Shepit waterfalls — three waterfalls in the neighbouring village, including the 8-metre Shepit-Brustury Huk. In winter they turn into ice.
Culture and food
Church of Saints Peter and Paul — a wooden church built in 1877–1878, described as one of the highest-lying wooden churches of the region.
Daleki Hory cheese dairy — a mountain cheese dairy in Snidavka with tours and tastings.
Pysanyi Kamin — another famous rock group of the Kosiv area with old signs and inscriptions, often combined with Lada in a “stone” route via the Bukovets Pass.
